The Cumberland Valley Business Alliance has selected Bradley H. Kearns, CPA, Member of the Firm with SEK, CPAs & Advisors, as their 2021 Business Person of the Year.

This award honors a local business professional in the Cumberland Valley area who has made significant contributions to the community and profession through their accomplishments, business, and volunteerism. Brad was chosen by a group of business and civic leaders through the Alliance and accepted the award at the Annual Business Breakfast on December 7, 2021.

Brad joined SEK in 1987 and was admitted as a Member of the Chambersburg office in 2000. His expertise includes business and individual income tax planning and compliance, transaction analysis, choice of entity evaluation and consultation, mentoring and coaching owners and key employees, and business operational success planning. Brad enjoys meeting with clients to assist them in achieving their financial goals in a tax-efficient and ethical manner. He currently serves as Member-in-Charge of the firm’s Chambersburg office and co-leads the firm’s Accounting Services & Tax service line.

In addition to his client responsibilities, Brad is an active member of the community. He volunteers his time as President and on the Board of Directors of the Churches of God Home Mission Council, as Treasurer and on the Board of Directors of Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce, and as Treasurer of the Greenvillage Church of God.
