Erin E. Clark, CPA, MBA, of SEK, CPAs & Advisors, has been selected as the 2022 Rising Star Award Winner as part of Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc.’s People’s Choice Awards.

The Rising Star Award honors one young business professional who demonstrates a commitment to the Washington County community through volunteerism and support of local charitable endeavors.

Erin was honored at a reception held on December 6. She has chosen United Way of Washington County and Humane Society of Washington County as the nonprofits of her choice to each receive a $500 contribution from the Foundation.

Erin is an Audit Manager in the firm’s Hagerstown office. With 13 years of experience, she manages audit engagements across various industries, including nonprofit organizations, healthcare entities, local governments, and financial institutions. Erin is an instructor for SEK’s in-house training programs on various auditing and accounting topics and a presenter at the firm’s annual nonprofit and governmental client seminars.

An avid community volunteer, Erin serves as Board Treasurer of the United Way of Washington County, Board Treasurer for the Humane Society of Washington County, Treasurer of the Smithsburg Elementary PTA, a Business Education Partnership Committee member for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, and a mentor for the Washington County Public School Education Foundation’s GLOW program. She graduated as part of Leadership Washington County’s Class of 2022 and also serves as a Program Committee member for LWC.
