PROMOTED TO MANAGER:

Benjamin Hursh, CPA, promoted to Manager: With six years of experience, Ben specializes in delivering tax compliance and planning services tailored to the unique needs of small businesses and individuals. Notably, he serves as a key resource within the firm for matters related to the Employee Retention Tax Credit and cryptocurrency tax compliance. Ben is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Shippensburg University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Based in the Camp Hill office, Ben is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and joined the firm in 2018. Outside of work, he serves as Treasurer of the Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center and as an active member of Central Penn Networking Group (CPNG), Harrisburg Young Professionals, and West Shore Young Professionals. Ben enjoys attending sporting events, exploring breweries, spending time with family and friends, and learning about history.

Paul Previti, CPA, promoted to Manager: With six years of experience, Paul delivers comprehensive tax and accounting services to a variety of clients, with a primary focus on closely held businesses. He provides tax and financial statement preparation, tax planning, outsourced CFO, small business consulting, and payroll services. He is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee and an integral member of various firm-wide Task Forces, lending his expertise to streamline and optimize software and program setup. Paul graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland Global Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland. Paul joined the firm in 2017 and is based in the Hagerstown office. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with family, playing video games, reading, and watching NFL games, particularly the Ravens.

John Stoner, CPA, promoted to Manager: John focuses on providing strategic tax planning services to closely held businesses, bringing six years of experience to his role. His expertise extends to assisting clients with tax return preparation and financial statement preparation. In addition to his client responsibilities, John manages various staff members within the firm and is a member of the Emerging Professionals Committee. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Wilkes University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania. He joined SEK in 2017 and is based in the Carlisle office. He also completed the Leadership Cumberland program in 2021. John channels his interests outside the office into home improvement projects, quality time with his wife and daughters, and maintaining an active lifestyle through CrossFit.

 

PROMOTED TO CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER: 

Brianne Dickinson promoted to Client Relationship Manager: With eight years of experience, Brianne specializes in managing client engagements, providing audit and advisory services across various industries. She primarily works with nonprofit, construction, and manufacturing & distribution clients. She is also responsible for training department staff and maintaining strong client relationships. Brianne is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee and Audit Efficiency Task Force. She graduated magna cum laude from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business and a concentration in Economics and Finance. Brianne joined SEK in 2016 and is based in the Hagerstown office. Outside of work, Brianne enjoys hiking, traveling, kayaking, and trying different craft beers and food.

 

PROMOTED TO SUPERVISOR:

Patricia Wildasin promoted to Support Accountant Supervisor: Patti devotes most of her time to providing accounting services and managing payroll, including QuickBooks setups and conversions. She also helps clients clean up their books at year-end. She primarily works with closely held businesses and nonprofit clients. Patti is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor with over 30 years of experience in accounting services, payroll, and tax preparation. She joined SEK in 2016 and is based in the Hanover office. Outside of work, Patti enjoys taking long walks, reading, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.

 

PROMOTED TO SENIOR ASSOCIATE:

Austin Bock, MBA, promoted to Senior Associate: Austin provides tax services to the firm’s closely held business and individual clients. He prepares tax returns and proactively assists clients with navigating challenges. Austin is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University. Austin joined SEK in 2019 and is based in the Chambersburg office. Outside of work, Austin enjoys smoking barbeque and playing the guitar.
 

Bailey Charters, MBA, promoted to Senior Associate: Bailey performs audit, compilation, and review services, primarily working with government and nonprofit clients. Additionally, he provides audit services for financial and healthcare clients. Bailey works on audit engagements from start to finish, from planning to financial statement preparation. He also actively communicates with clients for additional requests and inquiries. Bailey is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University. He joined SEK in 2022 and is based in the Chambersburg office. Bailey is a Lifetime Member of Beta Gamma Sigma (AACSB International Business Honors Society). He enjoys weightlifting, hiking trips, traveling to new destinations with his fiancée, Kara, and home renovation projects. He also enjoys taking their long-haired Weimaraner, Kane, to visit their Appaloosa horse, Dezzi. They also have two cats named Bellamy and Kallie.

Briana Crummett promoted to Senior Associate: Briana specializes in conducting audit services for nonprofit and government clients, managing engagements from the initial planning stages to the preparation of financial statements. She is also a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. Briana completed accounting curriculum at Harrisburg Area Community College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Penn State University. She joined SEK in 2022 and is based in the Camp Hill office. Outside of work, Briana enjoys line dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Stephanie Hall promoted to Senior Associate: Stephanie splits her time between providing tax services to the firm’s business and individual clients and performing employee benefit plan audits for closely held businesses and pass-through entities. Stephanie is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. She graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Stephanie joined SEK in 2021 and is based in the Hanover office. Outside the office, Stephanie enjoys reading, hiking, playing with her family’s cat named Pig, and watching her son swim on the Sharks Swim Team.

Jordan Harmon promoted to Senior Associate: Jordan performs audit services for the firm’s government, nonprofit, and financial institution clients, overseeing engagements from the initial planning stages to the preparation of financial statements. Additionally, he is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Frostburg State University. Currently on the path to obtaining his Certified Public Accountant license, Jordan joined SEK in 2022 and is based in the Chambersburg office. Outside of work, Jordan’s life revolves around sports. He also enjoys traveling, food, and learning how to do home improvement projects.

Alexis McKain promoted to Senior Associate: Alexis performs audit services for nonprofit and affordable housing clients. She works on audit engagements from start to finish, from planning to financial statement preparation, and specializes in implementing the latest lease standard for clients where applicable. She is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. Alexis graduated cum laude from Mount St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Forensic Accounting and a minor in Cybersecurity. She joined SEK in 2021 and is based in the Camp Hill office. Outside the office, Alexis enjoys arts & crafts projects, including using her Cricut machine, traveling and visiting museums, specifically in Washington D.C., and anything related to the American Revolution.

Breanna Rorrer promoted to Senior Associate: Bre provides tax services to individual and pass-through entity clients within the firm. She also assists clients with monthly tax assignments and payroll tax returns, as needed. Bre is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee and SEK University. She graduated summa cum laude from Mount St. Mary’s University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Forensic Accounting. Currently pursuing her Certified Public Accountant license, Bre joined SEK in 2021 and is based in the Hanover office. Outside of work, she volunteers with Toys for Tots, spends her Saturdays at Lincoln Speedway as an avid dirt track racing fan, enjoys golfing, crafts, eating and drinking at local restaurants, and spending time with her husband, friends, family, and two beloved fur babies.

Ian Shook, MBA, promoted to Senior Associate: Ian performs audit services for the firm’s government clients, including municipalities, school districts, and conservation districts. He works on audit engagements from start to finish, from planning to financial statement preparation. He is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master in Business Administration from Shippensburg University. He joined SEK in 2022 and is based in the Chambersburg office. Outside of work, Ian enjoys playing and watching soccer, and watching football, particularly his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sean Torrey, MPAcc, promoted to Senior Associate: Sean performs audit services, primarily for nonprofit clients, specializing in general and single audits. He works on audit engagements from start to finish, from planning to financial statement preparation. Sean is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) from Penn State University. Prior to his education, Sean served in the United States Air Force for over two years. He also owns and operates his own company. Sean joined SEK in 2022 and is based in the Camp Hill office. Outside of work, Sean enjoys painting, reading, and the occasional game of chess.

Margaret Warren, CPA, MAcc, MBA, promoted to Senior Associate: Marley performs audit services for nonprofit, government, and partnership clients, focusing on low-income housing clients and Medicare cost reports. She works on audit engagements from the initial planning stages to financial statement preparation. Marley brings additional value to her role with four years of experience teaching accounting at colleges in Arkansas and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. Marley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She also earned Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and Master in Business Administration degrees and is currently pursuing her PhD in Accounting. A Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania, she joined SEK in 2022 and is based in the Camp Hill office. Outside of work, Marley serves as Treasurer of the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area. She enjoys board games, watching the Green Bay Packers play, and performing with her improv team.

 

MARKETING PROMOTIONS: 

Kristina Tucker, CDMP, PCM, promoted to Director of Marketing: Kristina is responsible for the development and execution of the firm’s comprehensive marketing strategy, encompassing firm-wide initiatives, industry and niche marketing, and regional efforts across six office locations. With over ten years of experience, she promotes a unified culture across SEK, managing advertising, branding, events, social media, web presence, public relations, and internal and client communications. She graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in Speech Communication. Kristina is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) and a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) through the American Marketing Association. She joined SEK in 2014 and is based in York. In addition to serving on various internal committees, Kristina serves as co-chair of the Member Growth Committee and leads the Digital Marketing Manager Circle for the Association for Accounting Marketing, serves as a member of the Marketing Community of Practice for Allinial Global, graduated with Leadership York’s Class of 2020, and is a Campaign Champion for the United Way of York County. She enjoys hosting game nights and kickboxing.

Kirsten Stanley promoted to Marketing Specialist: With seven years of experience, Kirsten crafts and produces diverse marketing collateral, advertisements, and presentations for the firm. She also manages the firm's social media presence and coordinates seminars and events. With her wide range of skills and experience in marketing, Kirsten assists with creating a unified culture across SEK. She serves on the firm’s Practice Development Committee and Emerging Professionals Committee. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Humanities in Communications. Kirsten earned a Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification and a Poynter ACES Certificate in Editing. She joined SEK in 2018 and is based in York. Kirsten is a member of Allinial Global’s Digital Marketers Committee, a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing, and a Campaign Champion for the United Way of York County. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking, attending sporting events (especially the Pittsburgh Penguins and Penn State Football), and playing video games.
